So did you tap this? Drill a hole in the intake and got a copper prethreaded fitting, then fitted it for the sensor as well? What it look like under the duct tape?

Yes, welded on a piece of alum and tapped it. That was the adapter I bought for the aerometer temp gauge. I believe it was threaded to fit one of original temp senders location. It was too tall, and the wires coming out of the gauge were hitting something?, so I cut it off, rethreaded it and now the hex nut sits about flush to the added alum plate.

i did something similar, i carefully tapped the crossover itself. no leaks. i may or may not have a pic of that in my gallery now that galleries have changed.

guess i should give an update. waiting for wamu cards and master card to settle the disput. only thing i have as a hunch that they are actively working on it is my monthly payment is now $0.00

Did you get the tranny thing figured out? A this point would it be worth it to pull it out and get a manual and just go thru it?

well im waiting for mail confirmation the dispute is settled. i heard 2 stories from 4 people at wamu dispute center.

story 1 : the charges reversed at this time is temporary and will take another 60-90 days to complete.

pissed off i got story # 2: the charges being reversed means the decision is final.

now, not wanting to take chances im waiting to see a letter since i cant get a definite answer without a conflicting answer. morons...

i may still go through it for fun, i still have my 4.6 lol
hell i just might chop the hell out of my probe and make it a 4.6 pwrd rear wheel drift machine. wouldnt be pretty no more tho.
