Iduuno if I could have held my temper on that one. Nothing I hate worse than someone blamming their mistakes on another , he needs to be slapped upside the co^k sucker.

i showed it to my dad he said its got fuel cut out. either ur MAF is bad or u have a coil pack breaking down. come to a stop. stall it up for about 15seconds. no more than that. and lightly accelerate see if it still does it.

oh i forgot my dillemma is do i give him a 2nd chance to make it right? (third times a charm?)

how do i find out what parts he used in this trans? if he actually used them and such?

off to work i go.

faster, im just gonna go fill her up tomorrow, im rethinkin this and its probably damn near empty because it only acts up on the road. sitting its fine.

check TPS, MAF could be Range sensor like previously stated. EVP. or pinched wire in the harness. but u said the harness is fine.can u manually shift each gear and lightly accelerate and have it not mess up? or does it only do it when u get on it hard?

That transmission slips bad! something is really messed up! You didnt happen to pinch wires between the engine and tranny did you?

no joey i pulled that harness out and visually inspected it, then ohm'd it out to 0.1 - 0.3 range on all wires. if thats not good enough for this guy he can shove it. lol

faster, i can manually shift 1&2 but 3/4 will not engage at all. what you seen there is the same thing i get manually shifting..

back to joey, im thinking this guys hosing me and giving me a stock trans out of a junkyard marquis.

The first thing i would do if i saw a 94 trans housing under my truck is get my money back, I would not give this guy another chance he is obivously trying to cover his own *** by blaming this on you. You should have another shop diagnos the problem.

im headin to aamco after this post. they said theyll do free diagnostics even though the tech on the phone said its gotta be mechanical

You said this guy is striving to be the best in the area, but he gave you a case from a 94? What a joke. DEMAND your money back and take your business elsewhere. Take him for a ride in your truck and ask him if a trans that *****y is caused by an "electrical" problem. It's making me mad watching you go through this.

so no 3rd gear. there is no real 3rd gear in the truck it just binds the intermediate to the output shaft creating a 1:1 ratio check the 2-3 accumulator piston. make sure the springs are still there. there is just a band there that engages for 3rd ratio.
