What years does this fit?

Anyone know. Im pretty sure its 99-03.

 

Looked in three data bases - No part exists.

Maybe that's a casting # ?

 

Im scared to give up the web site as its a killer deal. Intake, throttle body, fuel rail, and injectors. All brand new take offs. LOL

 

Well the bear of bad news comes.

I thought since the 4.6 and 5.4 heads are interchangable the intakes are the same. Even if the block is longer. The pi heads are interchangable wouldn't that make the intake the same?

 

Haha, not longer - it's taller so it's stance is wider, about an inch or so. But, yea, that's where I get most my parts from- not that particular seller tho. They come and go on eBay all the time . Brand New Take Offs - mostly from crate motors and usually Crown Vic 4six's from the Romeo Plant.

So it fits but it doesn't fit. That gay. So much for me doing some thinking on my own.

 

well im more than likely guna get stuck with it. The throttle body is the same. WHat about the injectors? Maybe someone is looking for a new intake

Well then your out of luck. Cuase Aparently this one were talking about is for a 5.4.

Dont bother. There isn't one on there worth paying for. There is one but he list's it as a 4.6 5.4 intake and well as this thread shows hes wrong. It looks like 4.6 but then again i wouldn't trust it.

 

Aww poop! haha Yeah ebay has some but they have really vague descriptions and i"m not too excited about that. Called the junkyard and they have a complete one for $50 is that a good deal?

 

I don't know about the injectors , there not orange so I can't tell if there 19's - I would call him. - The injectors look like 24's from the pic. You might be able to use them , not sure.

If you win, you can re-sell it - It's new!!

 

I know and we both know its worth more than in it for right now. LOL

50$ is well worth it for an intake that ifts you. Make sure its not a PI intake. Yours is a NPI motor. As long as its an intake off a 200 and newer 4.6 your good. I think. Again im like 99% sure.

 

Well did find this and it says for the 5.4 but it looks JUST like mine. Can u get a pic of yours? Cuz I'd be interested if it will fit...I really only need the vac line part that connects to the throttle body. Nothing is wrong with mine but it got cut... So I need from the canister back really.

Your just looking for the intake. We were talking about an intake manifold. What a mess up. Just buy one of the intakes forsale on ebay. Youll get a cleaner looking engine and it will be cheaper. Might even get a little better throttle response.

HOw did you cut yours?????

by the way the 5.4 and 4.6 use the same intake. Just differnt intake manifolds.....LOL
