Just type f150 intake and look at the million of hits. If im hearing you right all of them will work. Just find one with the color you want and one that looks nice. It will be a step up from stock but not quite AF1 quality.

There is everything from 39.99 to 300.99 and in every combination.

I like this one cuase you get a K&N filter. NOt a no name filter and it looks nice.

Its the same one im running!

That will fit mine -even with non-PI heads I don't need it tho , mines aluminum- it's been polished

What's strange about that system is the injectors are the same color as 24's . Thing is, I wasn't aware the 99-03 models came with 24's . In-fact they didn't. Ford did change the heads on some of those 03 models to incorporate more Spark Plug threads. I'm thinking the injectors could possibly be the upgraded Type 3 19's.

I not sure what your trying to say past the first sentence - proof read would yuh

Thats what i did. Yeah. I should have looked at it. I was saying that his 97 intake manifold wont fit a 2001 newer f150 intake. As the fact that it would be a pi intake then. But we dont have to worry about that anymore.

Back to my coffee

Im so bummed that wont work. I was so sure. OHHHH well. Better keep looking. The injectors are weird just like you said. So ford never put 24's on stock? I would have figured they did in the newer ones.

Yea , they did -well they may have been 22's -26's, but they went on the 04 + models. The lightnings have larger injectors. But that was a stock 5.4L Intake. It's not blown and it's from a 99-03 model . As far as I know , they all came with 19lb injectors for those model years. That's why I think they may be the upgraded Type 3 19's. I just haven't seen them that color.??? The 24's are black as far as I know. Post the link so people will know what we are refering to..

You want a 4six PI intake for a truck motor 01-03 ..I'm not sure if the 04 and up 4six 2 valve intake would work, they might.

Just look for a 01-03 5.4L Motor - It's easier..

They do if they know of them, most people upgrade to larger injectors and the 24's are made the same way Type 3's are. Bosch Type 3's are as good as you can get in the 19lb class. They will replace any 19 lb injector on these trucks.

Torkum upgraded to these -so have I.
