Well , I could have used one of those trucks - We had 15-18" of the white stuff.
My kid and I pulled a wrecker out of the ditch first thing this morning. The wrecker ended up stuck trying to pull a Mustang out - who was nose first in the ditch . I had to get a little bit of run , but I snatched him out quick. Truck sounded Bad A$$ with all four spinning.

I spent the rest of the freaking day blowing snow -

Man that looks like fun, except for running a blower all day. I've never been in snow that deep, around here 3-4 inches shuts everybody down except for the 4x4 community If we get half an inch at night I have to get the salt truck rolling.

Back home we got storms like that. They would shut all the roads down after about 14 inches and all the plows would concintrate on keeping the pass's open. We would get massive drifts in front of the house. Back when we were in highschool a bunch of use that had old cars would try and see who would make it the furthest through the drifts. Mine was always first. 89 ford tuarus wagon..... I always won cuase nobody wanted to do it afterwards. And for some reason i would always end up digging it out alone. Traders.....

Something about hitting a 2 ft X 70 ft drift at 65MPH in a wagon.... Ohh the days....

I don't know how long the stang was there - The owner wasn't around. I stopped traffic while he got another bite on it the second time . Wrecker was just a dually, didn't have 4WD He winched it out finally. It was slippery , I had to get a running start to ****** him out when he stuck it the first time lol - I couldn't get much traction ..

The snows awesome when it's like this - still haven't seen a plow truck yet.

Maybe Torkum will show up soon

I remember this one time this idiot with a lifted chevy( go figure) took his truck on a snowmobile trail...... Got 100ft into it and fell straight to the bed rails.... I tried to pull him out with our stroker.... But no dice. We ended up flaging the groomer for the trails. That was the funnest thing ever. Wish i had a pic of it.

Yea , it was a drag after awhile- Yea, they won't salt until all the snows plowed. They have the main line cleared (thoroughfare's) - But haven't touched the secondaries. Hell , sleds, ATV's, 4X4's all are having fun .. More sleds than anything..

An inch of snow doesn't mean chit round here unless it's sleet - that's some nasty stuff when it thaws then freezes again. Like an ice rinke..

We got about an inch last night.
Back to the intake. Post here in the classifieds for the intake piping. Anybody who bought a CAI should have the old one hanging around some where. If you are really stuck go to a plumbing store and buy a 3 inch preeper. Also buy 2 5/8 inch brass barbed garden hose ends.

JMC

the rubber connector under the two hoses going to the RAD CAP is called a preeper

Throw out the threaded part and cut a hole in the preeper and push the barbed fitting through the hole so the barbs are outside. Silicone around the hole to seal. The IAC pipe and the IAC pipe fit on the barbs

here is what mine looked like
