I have had similar results. always smoothed out my idle and on a old nissan it seemed to make the TQ curve a little flatter.

Maybe someone shoved it down your tank got stuck somewhere and the seafoam allowed it to go on through. I use seafoam in my truck, my bike, and my boat motor. My bike is an 83 shadow 500 and it ran like crap when I got it. 15 mins later after some seafoam was run through it I was riding it. My boat motor is even older. It is a 76 and before I started using seafoam it was a pain to get it to start sometimes and running sometimes was not much better. A few minutes running seafoam out on the lake and it was starting up in just a couple pulls and running smoother than it ever did.

Yeah I use it in my 4wheeler and it starts quicker also than it does without it. Used it on all my vehicles and it has always helped with rough idles, long crank starts, smother power curve ect

It's CRAP. Said it before... will keep on sayin' it.

Search for posts by Labnerd... BEFORE you buy any, okay?

Sure put in in yer 4-wheelers, lawnmowers, juice blenders, vibrators, whatever... but NOT in yer fekkin' truck. Jeez....

I have personally used Seafoam on over 10 vehicles. ones with over 60k smoked heavily and idled much smoother after the process. On a small nissan 2.4l motor it also seemed to really smooth out the power band. For 6 bucks I believe it is worth it. This stuff has been around for 80 years, seems if it was snake oil it woulda been killed off by now

Well, people still smoke, and you can still buy Spam. Two things conclusively proven to kill ya.

So the fact that this chit is still available is irrelevant.

It's still CRAP!

I'll go with the chemist's advice.

Thats cool man. I'm not telling ya what to use. I just know if I can improve the performance of my truck for 6 bucks I will do so. Im not looking for an argument, the product has served me well and I stand by it.

I would be very interested to read that, just search under post from the name you referenced above? Was the post started by him or just one he participated in?
