It will kill yuh? Let me know for sure, I can save it for guests or feed it to the neighbors dog of I have to..
Thanx.

Really ? - can anyone explain the MotorVac Service - I'm not sure how that works , thought it may be the better alternative - a safer one anyway..
BG-44K goes in the gas tank.

Let's talk a little shop. If you wanted to remove carbon from the internals of your engine, the best thing out there is water. But if you add the water/mist too quick, it will hydrolock the engine. The same thing goes for most any other liquids. Some will stand some compression, some won't stand up to any compression and parts start to break. Now you also have to have an engine at operating temps for the water to work. What do you think is going to happen when the cold water hits the hot pistons? Same thing for any other liquid. It's not smart to introduce any liquid to any engine at temp from an external source.

Where can I find some of that BG? Is that something I might find locally or will I need to order it? I think I might try a can of that in my truck just because I have no idea what the previous owner ran as far as gas is concerned, nor do I know what was done maintenance-wise.

On the brake booster behind the master cylinder.
The dealer here uses a BG machine to clean the intake - I assume it's similar to the Motorvac? I had mine done a few weeks ago - they used the machine and put a load of BG44K in the gas tank.
Yea , I wish I had access to one of those - not for the motorvac (clean mine by hand) , but - it's gotta a colored smoke tester and EVAP tester on that same machine it looks like..
They just came out with a cheap colored smoke tester for leaks - auto zone carries it now. That little hand pump I have works ok, but colored smoke would tell the story as far as leaks - real quick....

I bought 3 cans of sefoam and added this to the tank and booster line on all three vehicles. I used one can in my truck(f150 2002) with 58k miles on it. No smoke came out if it. The next can I used in my 93 accord 220k miles on it... little bit of smoke came out of it. Third can in my 99 odyssey 102K miles, wow!!! smoke everywhere. It looked like I was hosting an 80's "air band" concert. Good thing there was a breeze moving around the neighborhood. So for those who think seafoam has a special chemical that makes all cars smoke are wrong. Let me guess the special "smoke chemical" is added to every 4th can during production...:
