Their is two guys here that have duramax's and both of them launch in 4spin and shift out just after they launch and neither have had problems. The one has ran a 7.68 and the other an 8.20 in the 1/8. I would think you would be fine, just my 2cents

Cool

HI!... You did pretty good to have a YELLOW TOP last 6 years. Life expectancy for those is about 4 years of continuous use. My 1ST one last 5 years. Then the 2ND one 2 years in my truck and I believe JMC has had it in his truck for 2 as well mabey a bit longer.

HI!... Well I had one of those in my F-150. Killed it in a year. Dealer replaced it. Killed the 2nd one in a year. It's not designed to be drained all the time like I do at the dragstrip with running two 16 inch cooling fans and a 10 inch tranny cooler fan and a electric water pump. The YELLOW top laughs at all 4 things running with the truck off.

Now that is a lot of brass air fittings http://www.liangdianup.com/subpages/airfitting_1.htm there is just about every type
of air fitting that you could want. Wholesale prices too. I guess these could be used as small water pipe fitting also. I
used some of the parts to make my babington wvo burner.

Built, I tried looking for it, but I was wondering what muffler(s) you have on your truck?

I dont know if it makes a differece or not but I would think the positive displacment blower would be a little harder on drivetrain parts then a turbo. Due to how the blower will deliver power quicker and harder then a turbo. Also he could be running an adjustabe wastegate so he can ease off on the boost on lauch and then as more as he gets faster. Parish was running close to 1000hp and he did 4wd launches but I dont know if still had stock half shafts.
