Where ever you have a seam - it will either suck it in and run funny - or bubble allot.

Alright , here something to look at

You said something to the effect it ran worse when you replaced the PCV valve so I want you to check this out - it happened to me twice.

The vac lines , the little ones , you should have green, black, red, white 1/4 " lines . If the lines get pushed in to far in the 90 degree elbows , it will cut off the air flow.

The second ring has to be showing - if not , it will not flow.. See the second ring in the pic below ? All your smaller vac lines should have this revealed.

Take a look behind your battery box - theres a bunch there as well . Other than that there all around your throttle body.

Second ring revealed like this -

Battery box area -

BTW - You didn't put diesel or kerosene in the fuel tank be accident did yuh? ( :

Take a look at all your bigger hoses while the motors running - when a line get soft or you have flow probs , lines/hoses can suck shut and collapse and sometimes pop back into shape when the motors not running - look for line that may have collapse'ed while the truck running - specially around the bends.

Try and reach that 90 that plugs into the back of the manifold while she's running as-well . That one there is the most known for this problem.

Mann, take some more freakin pictures of your engine compartment and post them - or give the link - I might be able to see something that's not right in there..

Or someone else might - pictures help allot..

Ok, I'll post some pics at noon today, when I go home for lunch. It's probably noon there right now, so at 2 or 3 your time they should be there.

What the heck is that thing plugged in into your PCV port? Doesn't look like anything I ever seen ?

Good pics -

Try to stand back a little further and get the entire engine in one pic , when you get a chance - no big deal.

I need time to re- read this thread again - see if I missed something .

What have you done to the truck since you owned it ? and how many miles?

I've changed the rear end fluid, changed the fuel filter, changed spark plugs, pcv valve, tb and assembly cleaning, cleaned my MAF, cleaned my k&n air filter, pulled on vacuum lines to see if they're cracked/leaking, installed and uninstalled my superchips tuner a couple of times. I have 78,000 miles, bought it with 75,000.

that thing coming out of my pcv port is what is usually there, but I lost the black cotter pin that goes around it so it looks bare.

Wow , I have never seen a pcv valve like that - cotter pin ? Yikes

What do you need that for

You might want to pick up a Motorcraft PCV Valve when you get a chance..
