Well I can't get either ends off without damaging it looks like there glued..

yah you have to pull from the side that has the bendy baffles on it. You can leave them on and be careful, or pull them off like chester did. and yah you have to knick the silencer up to get it out, thats why its a one time deal.

maybe you should just trade elbows with chester sine he wants his back, and you might want yours out

Yup, you have to pry it loose, then pull it out. It's only stuck on one end.
