Well, that's all my work for the DoD coming out. The US insignia on military aircraft is typically referred to as "stars and bars", thusly most of the defense folks also refer to the flag as stars and bars.

All of your armed forces combined, you only have around 62,000 people. You spend less than $15 billion (CAN) a year on defence. What's that, like 200 US dollars?

We have nearly 1.5 million people and spend $400 billion a year, and that's not counting what we spend blowing up other countries.

Comparing your military and ours is not even a fair comparison. It's like comparing Mike Tyson and a 10 year old kid. Just look at your air force, your best aircraft are our hand-me-downs.

As far as "the better fighters" goes, your people and ours train together constantly. Man-to-man, 1 on 1, would be a very fair match without any clear up-front choice because they receive a lot of the same training. Look at the Canadian Army Trophy competitions. Canada won 1st place once, the US won 1st once, Germany won 1st once, but Britain and the Netherlands both won twice.

Fact of the matter is, the Canadian military effectiveness depends almost exclusively on the US military and defense industry. You use our weaponry, our aircraft, our supplies, etc. What's more, your military isn't nearly large enough, or well-equipped enough, to defend your nation on its own. Canada's defense depends a great deal on the US. Without the US, not only would your defenses collapse, but your economy would implode.

HI!... I had a WINDSOR 5.4 in my truck for 6.5 years. I beat the crap out of that thing. Revved it to 6500 + for that whole time. Was one of the strongest stock 5.4's out there. Now if ROMEO built 5.4's, woooooooo now that would of been a POS.
