Well, that's all my work for the DoD coming out. The US insignia on military aircraft is typically referred to as "stars and bars", thusly most of the defense folks also refer to the flag as stars and bars.

HI!... Well since the Canadian solders are known for being the best hand to hand soldiers not depending on technology, then leave your toys at home and we'll see what happens.

You are talking about The War of 1812.

Written by the victors? As in Canada? LOL! The only victory you guys had was avoiding our invasion. And Canada wasn't even doing any of the fighting! We were at war with the British! The country "Canada" didn't even exist yet! All you guys were was a few ******* British Colonies at the time. We were at war with the British Army and Navy, not Canada.

And btw, it was British troops who burned the White House, no canooks were present. And that wasn't the reason why we call it "The White House" either, they started calling it that 3 years before those British bastads lit a match. And the Brits didn't "push us back all the way to the White House" either. The British had a VASTLY superior navy compared to the US. They raided the port at Washington DC and set the fires while they were there.

You guys weren't even a fricken country for like 60 some-odd more years after that war. Ya'll were nothing more than little pansy British colonies at the time. It was the British army that defended the colonies, it's not like you guys did squat. In fact, if it wasn't for the Brit's, you would be flying the Stars and Bars.

And you didn't win either, not that you all actually fought anything, but it actually ended in a stalemate between the US and BRITAIN.

I guess history is written by the victors, but it doesn't even matter because Canadians don't know anything about it anyway. The biggest war Canada has ever been in is which language to speak. Oh wait, I take that back. You guys sent frozen fish in WWI or something.

PS..... 5.4's still suck! LOL

canada=owned lol

All of your armed forces combined, you only have around 62,000 people. You spend less than $15 billion (CAN) a year on defence. What's that, like 200 US dollars?

We have nearly 1.5 million people and spend $400 billion a year, and that's not counting what we spend blowing up other countries.

Comparing your military and ours is not even a fair comparison. It's like comparing Mike Tyson and a 10 year old kid. Just look at your air force, your best aircraft are our hand-me-downs.

As far as "the better fighters" goes, your people and ours train together constantly. Man-to-man, 1 on 1, would be a very fair match without any clear up-front choice because they receive a lot of the same training. Look at the Canadian Army Trophy competitions. Canada won 1st place once, the US won 1st once, Germany won 1st once, but Britain and the Netherlands both won twice.

Fact of the matter is, the Canadian military effectiveness depends almost exclusively on the US military and defense industry. You use our weaponry, our aircraft, our supplies, etc. What's more, your military isn't nearly large enough, or well-equipped enough, to defend your nation on its own. Canada's defense depends a great deal on the US. Without the US, not only would your defenses collapse, but your economy would implode.

"Ottawa-based consultant Paul Tonkin, of Tonkin Aerospace, said Canada's military is currently a slave to the whims and needs of the U.S. military; the Canadian military buys most of its supplies from the U.S."

"Just last month, the military bought $5.4 million worth of ammunition from the U.S. through a non-competitive contract. The same month, it bought $23.8 million worth of aircraft parts and $6.7 million in guided missiles."

"Tonkin, a specialist in ball bearings who has worked on design modifications for the engine and landing gear of F-18s and the Canadian Snowbirds' Tutor jets, said the U.S. could freeze Canada out if things get tough."

"A big part of our defence depends on the kindness of others."

"If Animal Farm’s catchphrase was “four legs good, two legs bad”, Canada’s is “U.S. sucks”. For a nation that depends so totally on the United States for its economic survival and ultimately for its defence, this is utter foolishness."

"Canadian military spending is so abysmally low that, in the mind of Washington, North American security is being imperiled. Furthermore, if we Canadians don’t soon do something about it, the Americans will be forced to take drastic unilateral action help us, whether we like it or not, with untold consequences for Canada. Well, actually, not untold but repeatedly predicted consequences. If the Americans were to assume our military security duties for us it would be “completely destructive to Canadian sovereignty and nationhood.” On the other hand, if Canada were to assume “the full cost of providing its own defence to a standard that does not cause concern in the US,” it would be “ruinously expensive.”"

"Washington’s standards for military spending are well beyond both Canada’s means and political will. It is hardly news that the US finds Canada’s military preparedness to be inadequate – it was always thus and it simply continues to put us in rather common company."

HI!... I had a WINDSOR 5.4 in my truck for 6.5 years. I beat the crap out of that thing. Revved it to 6500 + for that whole time. Was one of the strongest stock 5.4's out there. Now if ROMEO built 5.4's, woooooooo now that would of been a POS.
