You can get alot done when you have the proper equipment within reach.

HI!... It's not that we HAVE to go there, we like to go there. There's a pretty big HOT ROD comunity here in WINDSOR. Everybody kind of knows everybody. We all go there. It's just a really nice atmostphere there. Everyone helps eachother out on their projects, we sit around and shoot the chit. Plus WPRACING just moved their dyno there, so you get events like today where they were having a dyno day and we just go to hang out. Plus you guys are all complaining about the cold. ROTAN is like 10 minutes from my house. I drive there, use their tools and go home.

i have had both in my stang. a built 2v 4.6 and this 5.4 3v. this motor is superior in every way. torque and hp. with the 2v i was going to spend a small fortune to get 300 rwhp. i fully expect to get that at the next dyno with bolt-ons only and at least 350-360 rwtq.

That sounds cool, cept, at times my trucks down for two or three days depending on the project.. I don't work in the winter (seasonal layoff) so I can take my time for the most part. That community sounds great though, do you have to pay some kind of rental fee? I Imagine they have to charge something..Can you leave your truck there if you don't finish?

HI!... Yes you can leave it there if you don't finish. But they are open until 11p.m so usually you can get most projects done. You can rent bays also. I'll be renting one of their bays for a month or so when I start working on the truck again.

All I have to say is that they put the 5.4 in the lightning for a reason and its a perfect choice. I put 65k in one year on my 03 5.4 and changed the oil every 4k and it has no noise and still pulls like a cat with its tail on fire! 5.4

The 98 5.4L is one strong motor. I've been in a 2002, 2004 , 2005 and none of them puts you back in the seat like mine - very true, I can't explain it - they all supposably out power my motor at the flywheel , but I can beat them hands down. The only mods I have is the Magnaflow cat backs , K&N Open Air (No box) - Polished TB and Elbow and upgraded injectors (19 lb type 3 upgrades) - that's it!!

It sounds freaking awesome , like a bada$$ 4 barrel when gettin on it lol. The funest truck I have had..Well, next to my old 75 Ford farm truck I had when I was a kid - It was totally rusted out, but it had a killer 390 in it , that truck was a blast..

i have owned both 4.6l and now a 5.4L i will never purchase a truck again with the 4.6l they may be powerful motors down at sea level but not up here at 5000+... going 75 in my old 4.6l up the hills it would down shift and the gas pedal would be on the floor on my new 5.4l it doesnt even down shift. i havent pulled a trailer yet but will soon. whats for shure is that 4.6l wasnt built with towing or high alltiude for shure. by the way both trucks were 4x4 supercrews
