It's also in your owners manual.

Cool thanks found it.

Looks like 220 HP/265 ft lbs

Anybody have a recomendation on where to start with this engine? I was thinking a K&N air intake and some dual exhaust. Any advice would be great.

Hey,I would say an intake and duals would be a good start.I would suggest going with true dual exhaust rather than cat-back.You get a little more power plus it sounds better.I would def say to purchase the "Edge" performance tuner,I recently got one for my 04 f-150,4.6. That thing does so much it is truely amazing.Research it and you will see for yourself. C-ya

The muffler shop I went to to get my exhaust on my 4.6 said that true dual exhaust is a bad idea. Unless you get tiny pipes that together equal a pipe just a little bigger than your stock pipe you're gonna kill your low end. The 4.6 relies on a certain amount of back pressure from the exhaust in order to function correctly. I got my single pipe expanded to 3" right behind the cats and ran the whole thing out as a single and I get awesome sound and a noticeable power increase. If you get duals, don't do huge pipes or I'm pretty sure you're gonna be disappointed.

Your engine stock has 220 hp and 290 ft/lbs of torque. The best bang for the buck is a new tune. Contact Troyer Performance for more info. He uses the screen name of Superchips_Distributor on the boards and he is active in the Chips forum. He is also a sponser.
