hey neal
The heat energy you speak of is only the heat contained in the exhaust gas that is exiting the engine. the heat itself is not the energy that is pushing on the turbine wheel. it is the velocity of the column of gas being pushed out of the engine. at the speeds these events take place, the velocity takes care of 99.9% of the turbine work. In a hot air balloon, now, the heat causes a column of air to rise and displace cold air, but a balloon is no turbine.

Also consider this in my opinion; he can only apply for a modification (process type patent) I mean he only really made it look pretty! I should know I have a patent. But really it’s just an expensive self achievement plaque I get to hang on my wall Good luck! oh and guys; just Friendly advice no attempts to high jack! just keep on keepin on !!
yeh i talked to him about it he realy doesnt care.. he said if they want one like it they can have fun making it. if they want one made they know who to ask. but im sure JL wil patent it eventually

so if your theory is correct than.. who needs a bigger turbo when u can just...

mount one of these on the hot side of the turbo... to generate more heat energy

I am not saying that heat makes no difference. you stated that "turbos are driven by heat energy". this is only true in the fact that heat is a byproduct of combustion, said combustion needing to exit at a specified time, thus pushing the turbine by velocity of said gas. Yes, ceramic and other coated headers make more power because they keep the heat in a little longer which keeps the velocity up. There is no confusion that it helps, but the turbo is still driven by a column of escaping gas. if there were no heat created from the combustion process, the air leaving the exhaust valve WILL still turn the turbine.
exactly..
And next i'm going to add this new style turbp that uses no heat from the motor!https://www.f150online.com/galleries...088&anum=12108

I just subscribed to youtube so i may mount one of these on my maf and video it at mike troyers place and then show the Whole world what kind of power a 4.6 can make! HAHA.
Sorry about the hijack... now for something completely different...
