hey neal

can you tell me what intake you have on your truck i noticed it all metal and not plastic like mine on my supercrew 5.4 and wher you got it and did it make any differnce thanks 72

HI!... It's the stock "99" P.I intake manifold with custom porting done. Then it was Ceramic Coated.

HEY NEAL...
Is that a 70mm tb? have you checked for vacuum at full throttle to see if that plenum and tb are any bit restrictive?
curious to know. sweet lookin setup. did you extrude hone or self-port?

HI!... That's a BBK 75MM TB and the intake manifold was custom ported and gasket matched.

im gettin a modified lightning intake for my build up.. i found a 5.4 block cheaper and 4.6 blocks so im going 5.4l

but have you checked for restriction since you've had it back together?

no.... lol theres only 2 that have been made thus far... one for a friend and one for a another guy... so im not gonna post any pics or anything. so the design isnt stolen before its patented.

you know you only need to get the patent applied for to start the safety aspect. the sooner you get the app in, the better off you are. ask me how i know...

technically thats more throttle body than the engine needs... the maximum that the intake manifold would need is 78mm making 75mm optimal to create resistance or back pressure which is needed to create a greater vacume in the intake manifold and have a greater velocity.. now forced induction is another thing... ud want a larger opening to cram more air in.. its one thing for it to be n/a and another for forced induction.
