Hey guys. That is actually my engine. As Phillip said the TBS was on before I got the truck. The friend I bought the truck from said he noticed a little better throttle response from it, which is why I have not taken it off. If you go back and look at the picture now you will see that it has been cleaned up. The engine was NEVER cleaned with acid, it's called dirt and it tends to blow around in Oklahoma and get things dirty. As was stated, it's not a good idea to powerwash the 5.4 engines. I have had my coil packs act up 90% of the time after just getting a slight mist on them. All I had done in the picture you first saw was sprayed some dressing on. The block has now been cleaned as you can see. Not sure why the passenger side isn't coming as clean as the driver, but I won't have to worry about that much longer since the truck is for sale. If you don't remember the original picture I can post it to refresh your memory.
