Some new Motor pics
pssh argue that with a real mechanic not someone who thinks they know everything.
also TBS help compress the air with the vortexing motion if u know your physics

HI!... Why would I argue with myself? I used to be a mechanic at a FORD DEALER. The TB SPACER's have already proven to NOT work on the 4.6/5.4. It has been proven on the dyno and it has been proven on the track. Geez I had one on my 5.4. I got 3MPG worse MPG and went 2-3 tenths slower in the 1/4 mile. And that stupid *WHISTLING* sound you had to put up with. By the way the sound goes away when you remove the TB SPACER.
HI!... This kid needs to do some seroius GROWING up. For your info, I changed jobs after a while of being bored and getting under paid in the AUTO industry. I now work as a pipe layer, and heavy machine operator.

I didn't have a whistle in my intake (stock).
I installed a Poweraid throttle body spacer 4 years ago (wow, it's been that long...)
Now I have a whistle.
It got louder when I added a K&N FIPK.
I took it off when I bought a new Throttle Body. I had it on in conjunction with the Throttle body, then took it off. I noticed a slight gain in low-end.
Swirling air will not compress it. You've been on the wacky weed.
Don't tell me different, I studied physics for 2 years, and got into FAR more difficult subjects than the compression of air.
Spacers work best on carb setups, where the intake ports are a straighter shot from the carb than they are from a TB in a long runner setup like the Mod motors.

edit: I'm 19 as well.

just to take note of, it was on the truck when he bought it. And was just posting the pic for him, he bought some new cleaner for it and it looks good. And doesn't leave everything oily or sticky to get dusty like the tire stuff does. And yes, he has since cleaned the block better. Anyway, the truck will be gone soon.
