Gas mileage???
Ok, lets start this again, what kinda mileage is everybody getting? Please include what engine, transmission, 4X4 or not, etc.

hwy 17-19 miles per gallon weekend trip of about 1000 miles, hauling a four wheeler, just change the spark plugs and cleaned the kn air filter,truck has 90,000 miles on it. 97 supercab 4X4 with 4.6, auto trans.

I get 17-18 Hwy(75mph or less) and around 12-13 in the city.

Now i am getting anywhere from 16 to 18 including pulling the boat here and there. Im about 90% hiway. See details in my sig.

18mpg mixed. Thats' for an imperial gallon which is 4.5 liters.

was getting 12-13 with 265/75R16' and now am getting 1-12 with 35's. info in sig.

Wow..your 35s give you at worst 1mpg?? Whoa..must be 35 ft tires! Haha..I figured you meant 11-12

I hate to say it but I get 10 mpg in the city 70% hwy 30% driving my 79 F150 4X4 with the 460.

The mileage SUX! Only have 300 miles on her. Its getting better as it loosens up.

10 MPG City

Dont know HWY yet but I go up 13.2 for a bit.

03 EB Expedition 5.4 stock 3.73's

Going on a trip this weekend. Will report back. Expecting 18, probably lucky to get 15.....

My 03 Heritage Ed. gets 16.5 average so far. Thats with only 1400 miles on it, and I'm a pretty mellow driver. I'm taking about a 300 mile trip towing my 24' travel trailer next weekend and I'll report back on what I got, and how the truck handles it. My previous hauler was a '90 F250 w/ 460 and 410 gears and I got 7 mpg towing with it. If the new truck does good it'll be for sale.

How do you know the mileage already with only 300 miles? Tell me you are not using the computer inside.

Anyway, I would not expect 18mpg from a 5.4L pushing 6000pounds and 3:73 gears. Maybe if you set the cruise at 50mph, but not 70-80mph.
