New Product for 4.2 V-6 F-150's
New Product for 4.2 V-6 F-150's
In response to the demand for more power by the 4.2 V-6 F-150 owners, we here at Performance Products are having underdrive pulleys manufactured for the newer 1999 thru 2002 4.2 V-6 F-150's!
The underdrive pulley for the 1997 & 1998 4.2 V-6 F-150 is already available and produces a solid 8 hp gain at the rear wheels.
For the 1999 & up models, more work was involved in putting a good kit together, including a new harmonic balancer to be able to make an underdrive pulley work properly on the newer 4.2 V-6 F-150 models. The gains on these newer 4.2's is also 8 hp to the rear wheels.
The underdrive pulleys for the '97 & '98 4.2 V-6 F-150's are available for shipment immediately, just give us a quick call or shoot us an email for details.
It will be about 6 weeks for the underdrive pulley kit for the 1999 thru 2002 4.2 V-6's. These will be in short supply, so you might want to get your orders in now to get your name on the delivery list. It costs nothing to get on the list, no orders are processed or credit cards charged until the parts actually ship.
One more go-fast part for your V-6 from Performance Products!

mike... i've had mine on for a good 2 1/2 months!...
YOU CAN THANK ME FOR HAVING ASP USE MY TRUCK TO TEST THIER PROTOTYPE PRODUCT ON.
They will not make a water pump pulley.
and you can also thank me and my $55 bucks that went to a dyno to see the gains on adding the pulley!!! 7.3RWHP @ 4600 and 2RWTQ @ 3400.
Since mike cannot answer that question due to vendor rules (but he advertises products) , i will tell you that the kit will retail $179.95 and will include a 44 thread bolt (maybe 50, can't remember) because of the installation problems Lee (owner of ASP) had, when he personally put the pulley on my truck.
OK... now lets thank Mr. Talleywacker.....

tooting your own horn
talleywacker yes you deserve credit for being the test monkey,
I assume that Mike ment that they are not making it themselves, that they are having someone else manufactureing it and selling it to them.
back to your dyno results
what are the numbers with the factory fan and with the electric fan both being done with the pulley.

Oh, Mike knows i'm just messing with him...
can't tell you on the fan... nore the throttle body. sorry, but i just don't have the information available at all. I can tell you that the fan feels about the same as adding the crank pulley... only noticable above 4000rpm due to a haul *** feeling, speedometer really moves alot quicker above that.
