Against all that is right?
I was looking on mustangparts.com and saw something I wanted, but wasn't sure if I should get. It's an SVT F-150 emblem! I think that would be bad azz, but do you think it's blasphemy to have a 4.2 masquerading as a lighting? I don't want people to think I'm a lightning, I just think that emblem is cool! What do you guys think?

Well, to tell you the truth. SVT belongs on SVT, kinda like 4x4 decals belong on 4x4s. That is what ticks me off the most, 4x2's, with 4x4 stickers on them. But hey dude, it's your truck, you make the call. If you think it looks nice on your truck, then do it.

I'm with Mudder... it's your truck, do what you want, but I *personally* would not advertise my truck as anything but what it is.

did you ever get your gears done? lemme know if you did where you ended up going and how much it was. I now have extra time to look since I have to wait 2 1/2 weeks for the truck to get out of the body shop after the accident monday.

I am puttin on the V-6 H 0 on mine after the blower goes on.I think it will give anybody that sees it something to think about.No false advertising here-a blown v-6 is definately a high output v-6.
I agree.. there is one word for incorrect decals (RICE BOY!). Not to put anyone down, but whenever someone comes into the shop with incorrect decals everyone starts to laugh.
Just my opinion.
lightning;
Just so you know each kit will be comming with a cool supercharged sticker much like the lightning logo. There may even be other designs comming out. Check out our msg boards and give your opinion if you like.

Yeah, I guess you guys are right about the emblem. I just hate the XL tag thats on there now. I want something else. I like the V6 H.O. tag on that site, but I'd be called a ho everywhere I go.Anyone know of a place that carries 4x2 emblems like the 4x4's?
HtownDan - I haven't gotten them yet. I've been so busy, and I will continue to be for another week or two until this project is over with. I'm going to go back to B&C Offroad in Pasadena. They quoted me $450 for all of it, whereas 4WPW was 650, and a local shop called The Shop Offroad, quoted me about the same as 4WPW. I get a discount at B&C also, becuase I am a repeat customer and I'm friends with the owner. I asked how much it would be if it wasn't me, and he said it's about $550. So thats still cheaper than you'd get it anywhere else! It's all getting done on the 23rd, so I'll post when I get it back about the power gains and other stuff. Oh yeah, I asked, and he said they use Precision Gears, so it's not a no-name brand.
