My truck would eat an interceptor alive. Granted, I would never put myself in the position to have to do that. Keep it on the track.

Lol. I'd outrun the interceptor, but unless I get a warp drive I'm not outrunning the radio.

well today my friend and i were in his truck(the 04 chevy) and at the same light we came up to a newer monte carlo SS with the supercharged 3.8L V6 at the very same intersection we were gonna race when the cop was behind us. well no cops this time lol. my friend went beside him and revved the engine, then the SS did the same. then about 2 minutes later the light turns green and the guy in the monte reacted very quickly and took off. my friends truck hesitated a little bit then off it went since its stock. but the gap the monte had when we started going stayed the same up until about 45 or 50 when his truck shifted into 2nd and the monte pulled away a bit. race ended around 65mph. my friend said he didnt hit it right away because sometimes you get A-holes who just let you take off and they never race. if it was even off the line it would have been pretty even up to 45ish. so now i know im not beating my friends truck at the track lol. i told him it would have been cool if i had my truck and we all lined up 3 wide but there were only 2 lanes and i didnt have my truck with me. it was at my friend's house

wow i just noticed you have a turbo on a 5.4. damn that would be fast. think you could eat a charger r/t? im guessing for a small period of time hed be on you then youd pull away easily unless your turbo has a consistant output. then youd pull away no matter what

i highly doubt it. if anything, the charger would pull away at the higher end- it has a much smaller frontal area so less wind resistance and as much power as a 5.4L turbo'd is putting out, an R/T has 370 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque stock and weighs half as much as the truck does. apples and oranges...

A Charger R/t? LOL Try a Charger SRT8. I kill them on the highway all the time. It's pretty embarrassing when a full size truck beats your sports car. I don't just have a turbo though. I have ALOT of stuff done to my truck.

yeah but the turbo is the biggest power added. ever had it dynoed or a guess of hp. i would guess at least another 100 with the turbo. i would guess around 450ish... and raptor, the r/t isnt 370, its 345. only ones with 370 would be the 09's.

Yeah, I bet that would be embarassing (and surprising) when you beat them. But you deserve to with the mods you put into your truck. Although I don't think I'd have to worry about that in my Stang, I have mods too

How is your truck for stability at higher speeds? I would think that it would be a drawback.

Before I changed to 4.10 gears I had my truck up to 165 acording to my gps. And it didn't feel like more than 100. It was scary as hell though and I warped my brakes slowing down.

The truck dynod at 463 rhp.

Am I the only one that thinks this guy is an idiot for racing on public roadways? ESPECIALLY in town?

Maybe I'm in the minority, in which case, I'll shut up and just go away.

I agree with you.

I would not believe one thing that comes out of timmypstyles mouth anyways.
