I'll bet its making less than 130 rwhp at the rpm he's shifting at.

It's not a 4.9 inline 6 for crying out loud! You got to rev these 4.2s past 3,500 rpm if you want them to go.

You guys are great! I had to read through this whole thread. I have not laughed this hard in along time over the PA install video. How in the hell you would think that was a good or even acceptable install is beyond me. My toddler could wire it up better than that.

Hey Raptor... If you actually see this, don't take all this too hard, we were all young and stupid once. Try and learn something from this thread, and if you have questions, be sure to ask someone who can give you a proper answer.

openclasspro#11... you are funny.

I think it is funny how Raptor ran his wires for his little CB with PA.

Here's a real man's install:

A real mans install would be molded into the dash so it looks like it was meant to be there.

So if his CB is little too, then what does that make yours?

And as for custom...

Aww Zack... that's beautiful! Tears to my eyes.

How do you do it?

Can I like see your truck someday in real life so I can truely admire it?

And as far as mine being small... I might go out and get the big one, like yours, now that I have so more ideas... not trying to be a kopy kat... or anything... haha

LOL... Well in my F-150, the Cobra 29 was mounted on this 8" custom sub enclosure...

Took the CB out when I sold the truck. When I bought the F-250, it had this custom overhead console...

Did a little work with a dremel and it fits like it came from the factory.

Why have a CB radio in your truck anyway?? That's so... 1980's!!!!

I tried to find that old thread in the GD forum that was created by the famous Daveg99. I guess all his threads have been deleted now. For those of you who remember it, that thread took off like crazy....
