The stock engine will run a turbo if you do modest hp/tq increases. If you want insane hp/tq out of the engine, expect to rebuild it.

If you plan on using the truck as a daily driver, and want to add a quick 100 hp/ft lbs torque, the stock internals should be ok as long as you don't ram rod it a lot. If you drive like a normal person, you shouldn't have a problem.

Its not V6power.net its SSM. And its $2700 for the stage 3 that adds 90hp. Then you have to buy the installation parts.

100 shot of nitrous for $800.

A good turbo set will cost you over $3000, All has to be build. TJ bought a kit put togather already for 1900, but i'm sure he's is close to 4k already with it though.

Real power adders are not cheap!

if ur gonna do it, do it right... with all the trial and error ive spent well over 5k, not including tuning.

i bought my kit for 2250, had to replace the turbocharger and the wastegate , ended up replacing the wastegate TWICE.

if i already had headers, gauges, injectors, maf and xcal maybe i woudlnt have had ot spend so much.

oh but im making 280rwhp for sure. i'll get my dyno sheet soon.

Restriction. More flow makes for a more efficient turbo.

yeah thats what i figured... but i was wondering like if you could get it running without the headers and install them later!

ok maybe im being cheap ill probably gonna just start buying parts and just buy stuff here and there till i have everything! then ill get the shop to install!

where can i find a complete parts list? i want to run 6-8 psi's that should give me 280hp at least correct?

it all depends on how you build the kit

my kit was built on headers... so when i put them on my manifolds the fitment was not quite right.

so i needed headers.

if you flip your stock manifolds torward the front of the engine bay and build a tradiitional style setup then i guess ur stockers would be fine but most prefer to use the log style 99 mustang headers from the 3.8
