2002 4.2L PCV - Drivers side

recently purchased and noticed that the driver side PCV valve is missing. tube and all. Someone mind taking a picture of that particular side of the truck? Is that all that the PCV valve for that side consists of is just a tube and a valve? What does it connect to?

Thanks for any help!

There is no valve on the drivers side its just a plastic tube that runs from the valve cover to the intake tube. The passenger side has the valve from my understanding. Should be the tube coming from the valve cover and runs up behind the throttle body.

oh really. well.... is it going to be something that is bought from Ford or is it something that I can get at a local auto parts store? I'm assuming that the piece that fits into the valve cover is 90° and just a regular tube that runs into the manifold.

Were you saying that the driver side goes by the throttle body? At work now. I'd have to look at it again when I get home.

Thanks again.

Its just a solid one piece tube that runs from the grommet in the valve cover to the rubber intake tube in front of the throttle body. I removed all that from my truck, all I have are breathers.

Well I understand that it is just a tube, but I don't see where it goes. You explained that it goes under the throttle body, but thre is nothing there that would accept a hose connection. The only thing that I saw was where the passenger side connects to the PCV.

Here are a few pics that I took with my camera phone. Sorry for the quality.

There are parts missing from the truck. We just put a new engine back into it. Should finish up this weekend.
