OD Light Blinking?? 99 5.4 Lariat
Hello... Last night on my way home from work my OD light started blinking on and off. And my tranny seems to be shifting kinda strange.
Any idea what this is? I recently put larger tires on but I don't think that should cause any problems?!? They were only a few sizes larger. 255/70 - 267-75

There are about 100 different things that can go wrong and cause the OD light to blink.
When the light blinks a code is stored in memory. This code will stay for about a month even if the light stops blinking.
Take it in and have someone read the code. Small transmission problems have a bad habit of turning into total failures if ignored!
