Transmission Code

got a code read today. Trans slip error - Converter clutch p1728. Do I need to new Tranny? Won’t shift past third gear

I'd provide the info that glc asked for so that it can be whittled down further. My answer at this time with the info given is that you are probably looking at a rebuilt with converter replacement.

But, with more info that could easily change. Minimal info=maximum guesstimate.
