High temperature of the transmission oil. 235-240 º F.

Hi all, I have my FX4 2007 Whipple supercharger and I'm having problems with the oil temperature in the transmission, when I go wot, the temperature rises very quickly to the 235-240 º F, and I must slow down and move around 60 mph to come down to 200 º F, but is very slow, I'm thinking of placing a 6.0 cooler trans of 26 rods as those used powerstroke, these are immense, but I worry that the connections are 1/2 "and we have, I think 5/16 "or 3/8", and may have a pressure drop of oil very large. do you think?. Where I live there is no winter, right now the temperatures in the day are 108 ° F and the night 80 º F.

I think that cooler will help a lot. Don't worry about the pressure drop, it won't be a problem.

Most of the Lightning guys use those trans coolers. I had one in mine and it worked great.

get a transmission cooler out of a 2001 V10 superduty. i think its bigger than the 6.0 ones, but im sure those will work just fine too.

heres a comparison of a stock f150 cooler and the F250 cooler.

ok, thank you very much, I will buy the Tru cool 4739-1, I think is the best, because so with the dimensions of 6.0 will be very little room for new cooler for the supercharger, as well, if you still have temperature problems, you install one or two fans on this cooler. Greetings.

Yes, I read that the V10 cooler is manufactured by Tru cool and 4739 is the same but with the bases, so I will buy this model.

Lord Mark Kovalsky, you understand Ford transmission specialist, I wanted to buy the Valve body separator plate and 4R75. for my 4R75, whether Troyer or BC (although I understand that Mr. Darrin longer works there, but I think the quality should be the same) or Factory Tech, I tried to communicate with Troyer on many occasions but not responding to messages , same with BC and Tech Factory, the only person who answered me is Mr. Alan from Dirty Dog Performance, which offered me a valve body that will guarantee me work better than OEM, I understand that Mr. Alan is specialist converters, and I assume you have enough knowledge to prepare a very good valve body to match the brands mentioned.

The V10 cooler is about 1/3 the size of the 6.0L cooler.

Sorry, I don't build valve bodies.
