Drop the tranny pan and make sure the filter is properly installed.

Yes! I had the same problem. The filter dropped out of the bore and on hills or under hard acceleration went neutral. Drop the pan and check the fileter.

K well that was good well it lasted maybe 5hrs operation.. then same symptoms no torque some time engine would just die.. try to restart truck wants to lurch ....
any ways unpluged module on the passenger side for shift control and tcc stuff now it starts and has a wee bit better torque.. hammers in to gear at 2500 -4500 rpm.... but no real torque can climb my driveway in 2 hi but barley (driveway 28degree slope) so i figure i I havent a clue Ideas?
truck did sit for about 4 years while the build took place ....but was started weekly but not driven

Without reading the codes, all you are doing is guessing. Take advantage of all the diagnostics available to you.

Scan it, and check the filter again. You may have to look in the filter whole to see if there is a ring stuck in the bore. We have come across this a couple times at my shop from when a service was done and the tech wasn't paying attention. It happens not a huge problem but something to investigate.

K so I got the 1-2 shift solenoid out as well as the pressure control solenoid put 12 v dc to em and they click the 1-2 only works when sitting level? why is this?
the pcs solenoid clicks but a very weak click should change em all while it's apart
is this the norm for these solenoids?
is there a resistance value i can compare I am changing the 1-2 accumulator as well

any advice or help would be awsome..thx
