Painting transmission?

I received my new built 4R75W the other day and i need to know what kinda paint i should use to paint it?

Im came already painted with that green self etching primer, but its an eyesore. I was wanting to paint it black and then clear it so it really pops. Im guessing just a high temp enamel and clear? Any thoughts?

Thanks

Polish

You could always polish it for that bling factor.

I know you two don't get along very well, but comments like that are unnecessary. There are many people on this site that have done business with Alan and have been more than pleased. His customer service is great and i haven't heard of anyone disappointed in his transmissions yet. I'm sure you'll come up with an instance though. I know you are a very reputable builder as well, and you do good work, but you don't need to bash his work based on a personal bias. If it blows up the first week then you can say " I told you so," but wait till then. Ive got a feeling that won't happen.

All I did was wish you good luck with it. There was no bashing at all. Nothing at all was said about the quality or reputation of anything or anyone. If you inferred something bad from what I said... Well, that means that you must have heard something else at some point.

I didn't say that you are doomed or anything like that. I just said that all I have to say about it is good luck.

Again, I wish you good luck. That means good luck. Note the word "good".

I wish you well.

Take care
Darrin
