Why doesn't anyone ever recommend Bilstein shocks?

I have them on my truck for the last 37,500 miles, no problems at all.
I think that is has been the best mod.

I had them on a 96 bronco and the ride was very ruff. I have a 00 expy with a 4'' lift with the rancho 9000.The bilstiens were good on the bronco for cornering but the straight driving was very harsh. I was thinking of trying them on the expy because it is a different suspension coils instead of leafs but I hope they would not be to ruff. Than theres the new 9000x to tuff to choose.
