Question doetsch 5/2 lift problem

I have a 1998 f150 2wd just installed new doetsch lift kit with lift spindles, shocks, and new coil springs. I also purchased the upper control arms. Well I installed everything and took it to get an alignment and they can't push the upper control arms in far enough to bring the top of the tires in to get them aligned. Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated.

You only need the arms for over 2", so like 2.5" or the 3" springs. With 1.5" you'll need to use the stock arms.

I have the taller spindles and the coils, total 5 inches up front do I still need the stock uca's? If I do how much smaller are they compared to the doetsch. Thanks for quick reply I was hoping you would be first pizzaman, you are very educated on doetsch products.

Spindles don't effect the geometry, it only applies to the coil springs. Off the top of my head I'm not sure, but they'll be small enough where you should be able to get it aligned no problem, the 'should' there depends on the shop, some still may not really know what they're doing if you get what I'm saying haha.

yeh I get it. They showed me the uca's pushed all the way back and still can't get the top of tires in. Do you think if I put my 1.5 inch coil spacers in it could help? Or should I try the stock uca's?

1.5" spacer with the 1.5" coils will work with the aftermarket arms, or the stock arms will work with the 1.5" coil.

Do you have adjustable camber bolts? That would be the cheapest/easiest thing to try first.

I don't think camber bolts will offer that much adjustment.

Well I got the 1.5 inch spacers on (pain in a__) they brought the tires in, now I am waiting on longer shocks. The camber bolts actually impeaded me from getting the adjustment where it needed to be. I am also getting add-a-leaf to bring the rear end up to match the front, its about 2" higher now. I appreiciate all the help here (pizzaman) couple more days I will be done and hopefully I can recover from all the surprises from this lift. I am complaining but I would still go it again if given the chance.
