2.5 level good bad ugly

thinking about going with this. any thoughts. Have a 12 FX4 Scab. looking to do 285/55/22. I am leaning more towards the 2" AS level. But am now looking into a 2.5 with a 1.5 bock add on in the rear. I have read the treads that talk against this. But is there anyone who has had a problem with the 2.5? And you guys with it. Can you speak to how much you like or dislike it. Thanks

Which one to go with?

I have the 1" kit from Daystar on the front of my f150 4x2. Actually raised 2" and drives like a stock setup and I added 33 12.5 20 tires. No rubs or scrubs. 35 bucks!

2.5" is the limit, its beyond that when the problems come out.

Right. 2.5 inches is the limit up front before the angles become too severe for ball joints and CV joints to last. Most of the kits are the same. These leveling kits are simple products to make so it basically comes down to price and quality control. The Autospring kits have proven to be a great value.

I have the 2.5 Rough Country. I love the way my truck looks. I havent had it on long enough to know of any problems. It appears like it hasn't hurt anything as far as tire wear. I would definitely do it again. Plus the Rough Country was really easy to install, which I'm sure most are.

I've had a 2.5" Autospring with a 1.5" add a leaf on my 05 since new and have no issues.
