I wouldn't do anything different. I don't use this truck to go mud slinging though. If I was going to beat on it like I had others when I was younger, I would have put 1 tons in it before I bought the rims and went with coil overs up front with a four link set up. I did that with a 98 S-10 with th 4.3 and a 5 speed. lifted it 16" and put 40's on it... That truck was a blast, but not as well rounded as my F150.

Truck came out great. Only thing I would do is remove the chrome around the handles. It's not horrible looking, but think painted would look better.

I agree on not mudding the truck. I can't see putting a $50k-$60k truck in the mud. That's why I have a 4-wheeler. Cheaper to fix and easier to clean.

i agree on the handles or do like highon22s did leaving just the handle chrome it gives it a cleaner look but like he said they dont look horrible just a thought. im the same away about my truck even though it aint $50k-$60k its still my baby and my buddies always give me **** for it but like highon22s said thats what my 4wheelers for.

Do you rub much with the 37's with only 8"? I am thinking about cranking up my coilovers and trying it. I hear you rub like a wild monkey off road though. I am thinking about body lift on top of my stage 2 procomp 6+3+2.

I had to trim the plastic inner fender and the front bottom valance. It will rub off road. Now with that being said we take my truck down to the ranch and ride all night shining for dear and have no issues at all. Just depends on how you drive it...

If I was concerned about it or it was eatting up my tires, I do the body lift also... As is its fine for me...

Yup got the gears installed! 300 FOR BOTH DIFFS! Guy did a great job, no whine for the past 750 miles... Its night and day different. I am averaging 15.5-16mpg as well. Best mod yet. Made the truck drive so much better.

My next question would be how is your rack holding up? Did you install steering stabilizers to take some of the abuse out of it...The steering rack in this truck might as well be in a Civic....
