My truck has a 1" body lift and 33" tires.

Seems like 35's would fit to me.

 

You'll be at 8" and I'm assuming your 2x4 since you have a coil spring spacer so a 35" will fit cause I can fit it with 6.5" and you can possibly tuck a 37".

 

What 3" suspension lift are you referring to? Lift spindles I would assume?

 

Thats what I'm assuming, I'm hoping hes not running a coil spacer on lift coil springs.

Nah your good using it on spindles. It's when you start stacking it on lifted coil springs you'll start to have problems.

 

I agree. You should be able to fit a 35x12.50 using an 8 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

 

When I had that front end setup (3.5" spindles and daystar spacer) plus my body lift. I sometimes got some slight rubbing at full turn if I was on unlevel ground with my 35's on 16x10 wheels with 4.5" bs. I swapped the daystar spacer out for 3" coil springs and UCA's and now have no rub whatsoever. My next step is to put the daystar back on and run 37's, but thats for after the regear.

 

okay thanks for the help guys. so a 35 and maybe 37 whats a good UCA to go with?

 

If you want to get a new upper control arm look into the springtech kits that come with a 3" lift coil that's what me and Buxton are running.

 

Yeah the springtech 3" coil and UCA is about the only one I know of. Fabtech use to make one but I don't think they do anymore.

 

You can only find the fabtech spindles by themselves now, it's a lot harder to find the control arm and coil new by themselves unless you get the long travel kit which is sold without the spindle. But from what Ive heard only they're control arms will work with just their spindles only not sure if it's true though.

 

Yeah Brad said when he got his fabtech LT kit he had to switch over to the fabtech spindles.

 

Yea I remember him saying that. So it really depends on what spindles he's running as to what uppers he will be able to run.
