Thinking about a leveling Kit.

Alright guys im thinking about putting a leveling kit on my 03 KR. I have no plans to get bigger tires. The truck has 275/60/17's on it. Will it look good or will the tires look to small? Also being a 2wd will i need a 2in kit? I want it exactly level not taller in the front etc. Thanks guys

here is a pic

I'd recommend the Daystar spacers. As for size, a couple minutes with a jack and a measuring tape and you should be able to decide what look you want and what size you want.

Would the spacers affect the ride quality of the truck? What is the actual difference between the spacers and the kit?

The daystar 1.5" should make it dead level. It might firm up the front a little do to it adding preload to the springs but it won't make it a rough ride by any means. You could get the 2" leveling springs, but those aren't gonna give you too smooth of a ride.

Why not get 2" shackles for the rear to level it? Less work and less money.

Your truck has coilspring. "Leveling" kits for it are coilspring spacers or lifted coilsprings.

I believe Bilstein makes a leveling shock for the 2WD. I love my 5100's, and if your factory shocks are reaching the end of their life cycle, I recommend you look at them as an option.

I have a left over 1.5 in daystar spacer. Ordered 1" spacer but they sent me the 2.5" kit. Came with 1" strut spacer and 1.5" coil spacer(which I have left over) PM me to work something out if you want.

Thanks guys, i had no idea it would be so cheap to get the front level. Im going to go ahead and do it because i was going to get the front end realigned anyway, so might as well go with the daystars before i get it aligned.

Good idea but i want it taller on the front, i have a front reciever hitch and it drags going over dips in the road and when i take it off road it really drags.

went the local offroad shop and he quoted me for a 1.5 inch daystar spacers and labor for 160.00 out the door. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, what do yal think?

Here are the install instructions for the Belltech 2" Shackle. It levels it out and easy to install. Might be able to save yourself $100
