Yup, my *** is sub'd!
Your truck started out identical to mine, white 2006 2wd Screw. Even had about the same wheels but all chrome. 22" Boss', the spokes look the same. Got those things off as soon as I could haha. Considering that I have a little under 5 grand into mine and it's not lifted and is NOT Raptor looking, $6k is pretty good.

im looking into that as well. its much harder to find the dash pieces for a decent price. plus wiring it all will be a pain unless the truck is a lariat. my main goal is to make this as simple and economic as possible so others can do the same. i'm working with shops in my area who share the same passion as i do and who want to help make something possible rather than make a quick buck.

I agree with that! I got Nfab step bars in great shape for 80 bucks from a trade in at my dealership. And I took a light bar that mounts behind the grill with 4 LED clusters on it, xexon back up lights, and Husky Liner floor mats for free from the same truck. Got my $400 toolbox for $50 from a different trade in. I got an SCT X3 for free too, but for some reason (dumbass) wanted a brand new one with my custom tunes ($100-175 extra in the end) and gave it to a neighbor kid.
I have contemplated doing a conversion like this, but I won't have the financial or time means until I'm done with school and completely hunkered down. I'm sure it's a huge undertaking!
I figured the cabs had to be the same dimensions because the wheelbases are the same and so are the beds. So it's gotta be that the front end has been shortened or that the dash is smaller. I'll have to check at work tomorrow
