Anybody had experience with skyjacker lifts??

I have a 2006 F-150 4X4. I'm wanting a 6 inch suspension lift, and skyjacker's kit looks pretty good to me. You can get new rear leaf springs and new coil overs, and it's priced pretty good for all you get. Anybody have anything to say about skyjacker's products? I will be doing some off-roading, so I don't want to get anything that can't hold up.

Have one in my garage going on tomorrow. I did alot of asking around before I purchased one and everyone that had one loved it. Its not the most common brand out there. Fabtech & Procomp you see on everyones rig and people love them too. I am not going to be doing any heavy offroading so I think it will work great for me. Bought mine off ebay for $1141 with the hydroshocks for the rear added. I liked that it doesnt change the geomatry that ford spent all that time designing just moved it all down 6". And my kit uses a add-a-leaf instead of blocks in the rear. 6 of one and a half dozen other the other as the saying goes. If you go with the big companys you will be ok; fabtech, procomp, skyjacker, bds, rize. I havent heard many good things about tuff country and rancho. Maybe because I was asking.

05silvrfx4 is one guy who I have talked to and had nothing but good things to say about his skyjacker kit. Just pm him with any questions

haven't heard anything bad about rancho, i'm a huge fan of them mainly due to being able to use stock wheels. still want to see someone bump one to 6" and run 37's on stock wheels.

tuff country, haven't heard of any one running them. rough country is ehh in my mind. alot of bad quality control on the 3/4 and 1 ton lifts. welds breaking just from daily driving.

make sure to post up pictures when you get it done. should look good

i love skyjacker lifts, i have owned tough country, procomp, and skyjacker, and super lift... the main thing is you get what you pay for. i have seen great procomp lifts but i payed $700 for a 6in on my 81 bow tie and hated it. tough country is good for the price but still i cheep lift i have a 5in on my 03 ford looks and rides good. on my 96 ford i have a skyjacker and payed $2500 by far the best lift i have owned but i also payed the most for it, i have taken that truck to hell and back, even flipped it before, but never had one problem with the lift!
