Do you Have to get custom Drive shafts? Cause I'm lifting my 05 F150 8 inches with a rize lift, then a 2 inch body lift??

To my understanding it would be a very rare case that you did need a drive shaft, just use driveshaft spacers as a just in case. Ive done my research as well and man these rize kits are super tempting. Seen one as low as $2600 but I want to do my shopping locally so i can get it installed

First of all coil spacers and body lifts do not need drive shaft spacers or custom/lengthened. Some lift kits come with a transfer case drop bracket therefore pinion angle and DRIVE SHAFT length is not effected. Rize Ind. does not drop the t-case. Most people think "I WANT A BIG LIFT AND BIG TIRES". Yeah thats great if you want a road queen. For the people that seriously enjoy offroading, a big lift and tires is only the beginning. Upgrade after upgrade. Anyway, if you are putting a serious lift and tires on your truck (ie. 12" Rize on 40's), don't use a spacer (from experience = bad result). Another thing, the kit is just for the front. The rear is your choice, don't be a cheap skate and use crazy tall, unsafe lift blocks and extremely long u-bolts. Do it right, go with some ATLAS SPRINGS, SUPERLIFT, ETC. Also you will need to make or purchase Traction Bars. You will have axle wrap running a 40" tire. Build your truck, don't slap it together with a sweet kit and tires then call it bad A$$. Build it custom shafts, gear it, trans upgrade, trac bars, etc. And to be honest I will never build another IFS vehicle. It's a waste. Just do a SAS. Anyway I am rambling on. The morale of this post is YOU WILL NEED TO LENGTHEN OR CUSTOM MAKE A REAR DRIVE SHAFT. THE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT IS YOUR CHOICE IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS OFFROADER OR NOT. DO NOT USE SPACERS, THEY ARE CHEAP AND SHOW THAT YOU REALLY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF YOUR TRUCK. If you ever have anymore questions or opinions I would enjoy hearing them.
