12 inch rize lift help
#76
How is the power turning those 42's?
Did you do any engine updates?
Exhaust, Headers, Custom Tune?
Did you change your front and rear drive shafts?
Glad to hear the 5.13 fit, because that is what I am going with and 40" Toyo MT's.
My next project is the 12" Rize (found one of the last ones in the country, have the kit in my album's) need to lift my garage 2' and starting to looking for the truck now. Considering a Whipple SuperCharger

power is good just like stock with 5.13 , i would love to put a whipple on top of it though! the only thing i really have is a custom exhaust and custom drive shafts. i had a evolution on my last truck and i didnt really think it was worth it...(sorry) id rather spend 3 times the money and get a blower. you will love the 12" rize! it is a awsome kit! the quality of the parts is better than any other lift out there! but you pay for it..

2006jackedf150,
Did you get the front 5.13 to fit? What brand?
I have been running the 12" rize kit for over 3 years now w/ 40x15.50x22 nitto mg's. When I was running 3.73's I hated life. I installed 4.88 yukons w/ a detroit mechanical locker in the rear and a detroit ture trac in the front. From experience, trust me, upgrade the drive shafts. I tried to cheat by putting a aluminum spacer at the pinion yoke/flange. It didnt work out so well. I have a driveshaft shop build me front and rear shafts. Spicer tubing and spicer greasable u-joints. I would strongly recommend custom upgrade front and rear shafts.

2006jackedf150,
I like your style man. I was concious about fitting the 5.13's in the 8.8 IFS, thats why I settled with 4.88's. I knew the 9.75 rear carrier would hold a
5.13, but I didnt know the front could. Its a great lookin' truck. Out of curiousity, what is your average RPM at 70MPH (highway driving) now that you are running 5.13's?
