Regrets of Lifting A Truck?

I'm thinking about lifting my truck about 4". My question is what are some regrets or problems you all ran into? Like for instance one is probably you cant fit in the garage anymore. But what are some of the others? Thanks

See my thing is that I went out with jacks and a 4" made my tires look just right. Then I went up to 6" and it made them look like doughnuts! Thats why i'm scared about a 6", but most people say you would want higher. But i'm just thinking that isnt for me.

Im going with a 4 inch too. I think 6 inch will take away from some of the drivability and a still want to retain SOME of my MPG because I drive alot.

I love the look of a 4inch with 35 MTs. Looks perfect IMO and its what you like not what other people like because its YOUR truck.

What kit are you looking at?

thats exactly why i went with a 4 inch kit and i have no regrets that being said their is not enoughf of a diffrence between a 4 inch lift and a 6 inch lift to make your self nuts over either way your going to enjoy it

I'm debating on getting the Rough Country or the Rancho. Those are basically the only two I really know of. But the way I look at it is that a 4" CAN be bumped up to a 6" if I ever change my mind. But a 6" can be bumped up to 8". And I KNOW I dont want 8" because then i'd need 37's, regear, driveshafts, and a whole bunch of drivability lost. I am planning on driving this truck an hour to college next year. So I think i'm pretty set on the 4" with that said. I just don't want there to be an unforeseen problem.

If you are gonna run 35's, you are not gonna lose anymore "driveability" with the 6" than you do with a 4". Both are nice, but I felt I needed to clarify the "driveability" comment.
Good luck with whichever you choose.

I guess when I said "drivability" I didn't really clarify what i meant by that. I'd like for the truck to be modest but big at the same time. Because I get in my bed alot and tow stuff and don't really want to be doing that in like a monster truck. Get what I mean? haha.
