If you don't have a second vehicle then DO NOT go bigger than 35's. Anything bigger and you're limited to what you can use the truck for. I love my truck the way it is now, but I can only use it for looks. I'm trying to sell my 37's and get 35's so I can actually use it to tow more than a 10' utility trailer with one fourwheeler.

I'm debating on getting the Rough Country or the Rancho. Those are basically the only two I really know of. But the way I look at it is that a 4" CAN be bumped up to a 6" if I ever change my mind. But a 6" can be bumped up to 8". And I KNOW I dont want 8" because then i'd need 37's, regear, driveshafts, and a whole bunch of drivability lost. I am planning on driving this truck an hour to college next year. So I think i'm pretty set on the 4" with that said. I just don't want there to be an unforeseen problem.
i have a 6'' pro comp stage II with a 2.5" AAL and my coils cranked to give me 8.5" of lift and 37" trail grapplers with the stock 3.73 gears. i drive a lot around my city everyday (100 -/+ miles) and i never get under 12.5 miles per gallon. my truck rides a lot smoother and better with the 6" than stock.

Wish I just had a leveling kit, a lift does look awesome but its not very practical for everyday use.

Did you recalibrate your truck for 37's if not then you aren't getting 12.5 mpg, you won't know what your getting till the tire size is calibrated into the computer

I regret getting 22in rims instead of 20s. Im on college and am savin up for new tires and they dont make to many large tires with a 22in rim and the companies that do make them charge 100-300$ more a tire. So Im buying 20in rims and going with 38s.
I also regret putting a 3in leveling kit on top of my rize because Ive blown out my 4wheel drive 3 times. Had to replac my cv axles my boots and vacuum seal multiple times. my buddy has a 8in rize also and just put a 3in body on top and went with 40s and its such a better set up.

regrets of lifting a truck.......having your truck look like every other truck out on the road.
trying to compensate for something, ridiculous amount of time getting in and out of the vehicle, horrible gas mileage (without supporting mods to adjust), having a mindset that you can now make it through anything.......when you can't, and not having a good perception of distance and clearance.
plenty more to be said and added to

My only regret was putting on the included oil-filled shocks. Other than that. my 6" is jussttt perfect. Tire's aren't to insanely expensive, just tall enough where the wife complains everytime she gets in it. lol but not to tall where getting into the bed or hauling anything is a pain.
