Sounds like I need to give Jody @TGC a call back and let him know I'm pretty upset that they've sold 12" kits for $200 less than I've already paid for the 8" kit. Did that $2800 include everything though? Front/rear/shocks/brake line..etc? Is there anything else besides new driveshaft that I would need for going 12"?

Well I guess that explains where the extra $800 comes from then...even though I'd already be paying a few hundred more than what you guys paid. Rize just uses atlas 11" springs but charges like $400 more to buy from them directly, anybody know where I can get an extremely good price on 11" atlas springs? If I can't find a good deal on those then this entire project is over with and the money is going to my mustang.

TGC is the cheapest place I know of to get Atlas leafs. You could try to go direct to Atlas but I bet you're not going to get cheaper than wat they offered. You gotta hink that 40" tires are going to be more expensive than the 37's or 38's you were going for before.

I'm having them come up with their best price on a 6" Fabtech right now and if it's low enough I'm going that route and bumping it up 2" to 8". That's all I was going to run the Rize at anyways since the laws here in MD suck. That's the route I was going to go in the first place if I couldn't find a good price on the Rize. If that doesn't work i might just pick up this sweet 66 Mustang I found

stay in the Army and you're bound to end up somewhere that you can't drive your truck dude...... The Army is the reason i ended up where I am. Had I never joined I'd be in sunny SoCal where the cops don't give much of a **** about lifted trucks.......I probably wouldn't be able to afford to lift my truck or even have my truck to begin with had I not joined though

You guys should all just common down to Ft. Bragg, NC its the place to be. Just stay away from fayetteville...you'll either get shot, stabbed, your car broken into/stolen or robbed. Possibly some type of combination of the above. I'll give TGC a call tomorrow and see what I can work out, I heard rumors of a rough country kit that they modified to sit at 8" heres the link: http://www.topguncustomz.com/G2Galle....php?album=195 that might be what I end up going with if I don't go ***** out and get the 12 haha

All that is is a Rough Country 6" lift with the addition of an AAL and the 2" adjustable Bilstein 5100's. You can do that with any 6" lift. The Fabtech 6" comes with 6" longer struts already and no spacer so all you have to do is add a leveling kit on top and there you have your 8" up front. Pick whatever 6" lift you want and I'll help you get it to 8" if that's what you want to do.

I am most likely going with the basic Fabtech kit and I already have a 2" Autospring spacer and 4-6" adjustable Bilstein 5100 struts. For the rear I will likely re-order the 8" Atlas leafs and use the Bilstein 5100 shocks I already have. I'm waiting on Jim to call me back from TGC to give me a price for the basic Fabtech w/ no rear shocks and hopefully no blocks/u-bolts and no front struts. He's also going to confirm for me if the kit comes with the driveshaft spacers and also give a price for the dual stabilzers.

tlt008 - any updates on pricing for that? That sounds like a pretty good set-up that I wouldn't mind putting under my truck. I've been checking at every retailer for the 8" Rize kits...they truly are completely sold out everywhere. I even tried contacting Rize directly and they don't have any or know of anywhere with them in stock currently. I'm tempted just to place an order for like 3 8" kits then sell them on ebay and see who's stupid enough to pay over retail value for them haha.

F no I haven't heard anything. It's funny because in the time they've kept me waiting I've decided not to lift and just level on 35's with a little surprise under the hood. Any interest in some longtube headers and high flow cats?

You've got some for sale? Funny thats like exactly what I'm dong. Just tossing on the rize 2.5 leveling kit that I picked up for $100 with some 35's and then putting money into my mustang...looking to drop the exhaust out the sides in front of the tires, add on the roush body kit and paint the entire car matte black with some nice lil surprises under the hood...looking to hit around 500-550hp....about the headers though, what do you have?

Bought a set of Jethot(ceramic) coated Pacesetter longtube's from a guy about a month ago along with the matching y-pipe. Also picked up 2 high flow 3" Thunderbolt cats with the o2 bung already welded in where it needs to be and some Percy's locking header bolts. The cats would need to be welded in but everything else is there.....gaskets, instructions, clamps, wire to extend the o2 wires, reducer from 3" to 2 1/2" to match to the factory exhaust......$725+ shipping and it's all yours. I don't think I'll be needing it if things work out the way I'm planning now....looking to be at 500rwhp/500rwtq with my truck
