thanks everyone for your inpuit and knowledge on the subject, especially the folks with first hand knowledge. I spoke with the shop that will be putting the lift on my truck and they said they have already done 2 this year and have had no issues with the stock drive shaft. I will be running the 37/12.5R20 Nitto Trail grapplers. I may stick woth the wheels I have but I am in the process of traiding for a set that I like better. Its going to be areound 4,600 for the lift, installed, tires installed and front end lined up. so I am fairly happy with the price and now all I half to do is save up for it. lol

Don't forget to re-gear to 4.88s or higher. http://www.truckmodcentral.com/forum...ead.php?t=4159

you can always go with a 6in fabtech or procomp crank ur coils add a leaf for the back. theres your 8 inches of lift you want... idk thats a easy way just a suggestion.

Well I wont be able to regear as soon as I get the lift, I dont think. Depends on how the money looks.
Greatwhite(love the name), I dont like the looks of just a 6" lift, perfere not to half to add anything to get a full 8" and I really like the looks of the Rize front sections. I think for the quality of the product and the price I will be paying for install and everything, you cant beat it.

Smitty I wish I had your luck. I'm ready for a re-balance on my 2nd custom aluminum one or pony up for a 3rd custom steel double cardan d/s.... argh!
