New England Lift Installers

I'm ready to lift my truck, but I'm having trouble finding some place in New England, specifically Massachusetts, to have it installed. I don't feel comfortable doing it myself, and would like to find a 4 wheel shop who is reputable. Anyone in Mass had their truck lifted that can recommend a good place. Thanks. Oh, and its not a daily driver so I don't mind a reasonably long drive to drop it off for a couple days. Thanks again.

I feel your paine. It took me forever to find a place that would do it up here where I'm at...In maine. I dont know the rules or laws about how high up mass lets people lift but in maine its no more than 3in at the frame. lots of people up here are doing body lifts and bigger tires. no monsters up here. sorry I couldnt help you more bro. try to look in NH. or just take it to a smaller mechanics shop and see what they would charge. they may not know how to install it as fast, but at least all liability will be on them and its better than you messing up your own truck....just my 2 cents

I know a place in Somers, CT which is just over the Mass line...not sure where you are coming from, but just to give you an idea...from downtown Springfield it would take you 20 minutes so hopefully that will give you an idea of how long it would take from where you live.

These guys specialize in lifts and will be installing a AS2.5 leveling kit in my truck soon. They charge $75 per hour, so if you know how long it will take to install, you will know how much you're looking at.

I cannot remember the name, but I drive by it on my way to work so if it's not too far for you to drive, I'll let you know tomorrow when I go back to work.

That would be great, thank you. I work around the Springfield area so that wouldn't be a far drive. Thanks again.

Seems to me if you talk to any reputibale repair shop locally you should be able to get it done, its not that hard just basic repair work, have you tried your Ford Truck Dealer? no one would be more capable, Who would know your truck better. Just my 2 cents

Why not check out Rizes website for the folks in that area they allow to install their lifts? 9 times out of 10 they are very good shops, and do quality work otherwise they wouldn't be installing rize lifts. I say nine times out of ten becuase in some places 4wheel parts is a Rize installation specialist and they have spotty quality and poor customer service from shop to shop..

http://www.rizeind.com/04dealers/19maine.html

Rize shows no dealers in the Maine area so you might have to check out surrounding areas..

I never considered contacting the dealer, I always assumed that they would over charge, I'll give them a call tomorrow. Your right, who would know better than a Ford dealer.

I don't mind a drive if you say they're a reputable shop. Thank you will look into it.

Thanks for checking for me. I stopped in today, but Mike wasn't in, I grabbed a buisness card and I'll give him a call tomorrow.
