What AAL can I install and stay level with a 2" leveling kit?

I wanted to see if its possible to stay leveled out if I have a 2" leveling kit and I add an AAL to my rear for a stiffer ride? I also would like the extra support if I carry a load.

You might look into something like a Hellwig Helper Spring. Although i don't think those will stiffen the ride any. but theyll help with a load

I think you will go back to a rake with only a 2'' leveling kit if you add a leaf. Not 100% sure on the 09 but I know on my 08 I went with a 2.5" and its a touch high in the front so an AAL would make it sit back level.

I have a 2.5" leveling kit and put in the auto spring leaf, I sat level before and put it in and it sits a tad higher than level now but still looks level. Its a short one and sits on the bottom of your leaf package (you dont have to undo your leaf clamps) and only raised my bed about 1", I really didnt notice to much of a difference In ride quality I'm very happy with it. I bought it of ebay from the autospring store.

That's a good point right there.

Do I have any options for leveling/lift kits that go 3"? Or would that just be terrible on the CV boots and ball joints?

Yea stay 2.5" or less avoid 3". If I were you I would go with a 2.5" in the front and an AAL in the rear that should leave you sitting close to dead level. If you plan on going with the 2" the idea of a shorter block and an AAL is a good idea.

Ok I think I will go 2" and see where it sits after that. I am scared of going to much and getting terrible angles on my CV boots and ball joints. It sucks I have seen older F150's with 2.5" and there boots look level. Then have seen newer models with 2" and boots are totally folded and angled.
