trim, I will look for some leaf springs, I am sure I can find em, but shipping from here to you would be crazy. I would guess almost $100 just to ship. I guess I will ask around and see whats up. Other then that, what's left ? You figure out the t-case ? Driveshafts ? gearing ? etc ?

well i got a qoute for leaf springs at 550 includes shipping.

the t-cases are waiting till i get the NP205 and NP203 then ill rebuild them and mount them together and then take out the 4406 and run the 203/205 but that will be a few months down the road.

for now im gonna be a big 2wd. but that no biggie.

nope, not really worried about the leaf springs weight, im actually worried about their strength, they are 3/4 ton leaf springs.

The frame wont get anything done to it till the t-cases go in and then it will get some more BEEF before the 4bt goes in.

Thats why i was asking because my buddy has a 98 Z71 1500 that he's eventually doing 1ton axles under it, and he's already got 3/4 leafs on the truck. When he attempts even a steep driveway flex, the shackle horns bend and twist like crazy, and now his frame squeeks when he flexes.

Carry on tho, its just a weak chevy frame. But really remember you are using a 10 year old frame so keep that in mind.
