Anyone know a cheap place to buy torsion keys? and are certain ones better than others?

 

I assume you have a 4x4? If so, then I recommend staying away from aftermarket torsion keys. This is kind of an unwritten rule on this forum. The will put way to much preload and cause your components to wear out faster.

Most members with the 97-03 4x4s just use the OEM keys and turn them up. You can level out your front end for free. That's what I did and most other members do. Here's a link for you to check out. 2 years and no problems...

yes the assumtion of 4x4 is correct, considering i would be talking about spacers or blocks if it was 4x2. i have my stock torsion keys cranked up as far as they will go and still need about 2 inches to level er out..??

 

I agree. Stay away from the aftermarket keys. You will just put way too much preload on the torsion bars with them which will destroy your ride quality and cause premature wear and tear.
