Thank's for the info. I've defiantley thought about ordering from them in the past but after reading this they won't be getting any of my business.

I didn't even know they were based right around the corner from me.

here is the catch--they will not handle returns over the phone, only internet. you have to read the terms and agree. if you dont agree then you dont get a returned goods number(rgn). which then means they will not accept the return. therefore you are forced to agree or you cant return anything and stuck with the products you dont want.
along with what all you guys suggested, i am gonna research small claims court in my area.
They are lucky more people don't read the return policy before they purchase. Anybody that reads their return policy would be turned off, it just screams bad customer service.

tonkatruck33, i use randolph brooks federal credit union. i went in and we waited while thier people looked at the site. they said since the return policy is out in the open, i could have seen it, and they cant help. ---when you are in the market to BUY something, this means RETURNING it is not on your mind.

crash, you have done more than enough. i dont think they will bend on any of this. i wouldnt even want to give them anymore of my business if they did give me credit. besides that was cash on that card. it was not a credit card. that is literally cash out of my pocket.

Almost the same exact thing happened to me with them. I ordered the fabtech with front dirt logics and they sent me rear dirt logics instead. I went through hell talking to them and finally just ordered the front coilovers and they told me to send back the wrong things back and they would refund my money. So I sent the stuff back and they swear they never received the parts so i didnt get a refund. I did have a fault in it though because i lost the receipt for the shipping that i sent so i couldnt prove that i sent it. even though i spent $100 on shipping. So i lost about 350 dollars. Plus their customer service sucks, 2 of the head guys i talked to could barely even speak english and they didnt care about my problem. They got their money and thats all they cared about.
Ill never do business with them again

I hope all goes well with the letter and that you get your FULL refund. I hate when companies do this. +1 on them loosing another customer for good!

Return

Just wondering....did you not wonder how come the price was so cheap when you were ordering this product with dirt logics? And why did you not want to keep the lift and buy the correct dirt logic shocks to go on it? I imagine you could not find the deal anywhere elsefor that low price either. I have looked at the retrurns policy and it seems just like about everyone elses policy. If you just return the product and do not purchase something else, they hit you with a returns charge to cover freight etc, but...if you replace the wrong parts, they will not charge a returns fee.

Bottom line is that you didn't get what you thought you were getting for a super low price, and if the conversation was like you said on the phone, it was the salespersons fault. Everybody does make mistakes and I am sure if you work you have made some too, but, if you really wanted the dirt logics you should have just sent back the shocks you got and worked out some sort of deal to get the dirts at a reduced price from them.

An interesting first post on the forum for sure

Agreed on the "when something seems to good to be true it usually isn't" part, but when a salesman tells you otherwise what are you to think?
