Dammit I'm now joining the ranks of getting screwed by 4wheelonline also. Ordered a pair of Nitto Dune Grapplers in Oct. Took them 10 days to get back with me to tell me that they were on "national backorder". Albert was person who contacted me. I asked to cancel order and get $398 refund. That was 8 days and two phone calls ago. Still no refund. Man I am so pissed at myself for not researching them. BTW the now are up to 99 BBB complaints...

4WheelOnline NOT 4WheelParts

Yes two different companies...and until someone points me to a 12 page thread regarding how bad 4WheelParts.com is then I will reserve MY judgement. I have bought many items from them via online, at their Oakland and San Jose CA stores and at the last 4 Truck Fests that they have held locally and they have been nothing but great to me. At my last visit they GAVE me a 35x12.5" discarded tire so I can use it as full size spare (I was willing to pay a small sum for it).

Now, back to 4Wheelonline.com...now THEY suck and this thread SHOULD be a sticky to protect all of us.

I sent them an email months ago after reading about the $500 re-stocking fee, asking them for an explanation, how could they charge someone such an outrageous amount (?), but never got any response.

Mods-

since so many people have been ripped off by these jerks, is it possible that this could be made a sticky so people can be aware to stay clear of them?

Thought this is funny to read on their website.

Return Policy
We work hard to ensure that all of our customers receive the products which they order. The product ordered is that product that you have ordered on our Internet site. In the case of phone orders, our customer service agents review each order with each customer before shipping. Your order is then what they have told you and have repeated back, this is your finalized order. However, we are only human and mistakes can be made. If you have received a product different than what you ordered please note that in the reason for return so we can correct the problem quickly.

I have purchased from this company once and received exactly what I ordered. When shopping for additional items to customize my truck, including a Fabtech lift kit, I was not impressed by the information I was getting. I ended up buying from 4Wheel Parts because it has a store nearby in Orlando. The sales help, especially Mike Haaf, have been great. They answer my questions and make recommendations. If there is a problem they resolve it. I was in the store once when someone came in to return some led lights that looked like they had been through hell and back. The sales rep took them back and issued a refund. I have bought my lift kit, winch, tires, accessories. I will be buying wheels next. Here's the kicker, the folks at 4Wheel Parts have allowed me to leave most of the stuff there at their store while I put everything together to do a complete makeover. If you are accumulating parts like me I would buy from a reputable retailer. If you have to store your parts for awhile before installing them make sure you inspect them right away and take action if you are missing parts or the items are not as described. Know the return policy before you buy.

I am an attorney in FL and I am very impressed by the advice that has been given here. It is all good advice. Follow it.
