Rize 8"

So i talked to the people at southern off road and they told me that an 8" rize installed would be $4300. Is this right because the lift itself shipped is $2850? Also they told me i would have to do something with shocks. This would mean that it would cost $1450 for shocks, installation, and brakes (i guess). Is it just me or does this seem like too much?

well i put 2k down, and payed another 3300 at completion. so give or take some stuff about 5300 total, probably not the best deal but i got what i wanted, a big lift that looks badass!! Thump or patshea would know more about the pricing in the georgia/florida area. im in texas and install was running 1100 bucks pretty much everywhere i went...

Rize lifts look awesome, but are they really worth that kind of money? I would go with the 6" fabtech and the DL coilovers. That would get you about the same height, good looking lift, and affordable price

They are nuts. I paid $6,000 for the Rize 8", upgraded Bilstein 5150s in the rear, extended stainless steel brake lines, 37x13.50 Nitto Mud Grappler and 20x10 Moto Metal 951s, lug nuts, mounting/balancing, installation of everything out the door with tax. The Rize 8" used strut extensions for the front lift, which leaves you with stock shocks so what are they talking about? So, I'm guessing the rear shocks. I'd question their pricing, I only paid $900 for installation of everything.

It'd be a good idea, I'd recommend going with 4.88s, your truck will thank you.

How much trimming would i have to do to fit 37s? And how much would 4.88s cost?

You would have a minimal ammount of trimming to do. 4.88s, diff cover, and oil will run you anywhere from $1700-$2500 depending on the brand. Id go with yukons or precisions.

My rize kit was 2650+tax and $600 to install at Pungo Offroad in Virginia Beach. Dropped off on Monday and picked up on Tuesday.

That's going to depend on your wheel width and backspacing.

I paid $1600 for 4.88s and a Mag-Hytec differential cover installed with tax.
